The new Act 3/2009, of 3rd April, on structural modifications of the commercial companies, which entered into force on 4th July 2009, introduces important new aspects into the legal regime for this type of company operations. These operations go beyond mere changes to the articles of association, and affect the equity structure of the trading companies, and which are realised in form of transformations, mergers, splits and global cessions of assets and liabilities. Various professionals from different departments in the Bufete Barrilero y Asociados took part as speakers at this interesting seminar organised by the Bizkaia Business Confederation, CEBEK.
