NUMBER OF HOURS WORKED PER DAY: THE LEGAL FRAMEWORK, INSPECTIONS INTERPRETATION AND THE EXPERIENCE OF ITS IMPLEMENTATION

 
With the publication in the BOE the RD-Act 8/2019, from the May 12th onwards it will become mandatory for all employees to register the number of hours worked per day. This affects all companies irrespective of size, type of employment, whether on the premises or on the road with or without overtime. Companies can convert this obligation into an opportunity to increase productivity and improve quality of service via the use of data as well as via information which permits the adoption of decisions in real time.
Next Thursday, December 12th, in Vigo´s ‘Circulo de Empresarios’, Jose María Casas de Ron, director of the provincial labor and social security inspection of Pontevedra, Natalia Vietes Prego, responsible for HR and PRL at Dígame and José Ramón Mínguez, partner at Bufete Barrilero y Asociados, will be participating in a round table talk that will analyse this topic from multiple points of view: the legal framework, inspections interpretation and the experience of its implementation.
