The main goal of the initiative is to make access to legal services easier for those in financial difficulties.
Bufete Barrilero y Asociados, under the motto “adding to legal pro bono”, has joined the Spanish Pro Bono Foundation whose aim is to ease access to legal services and legal aid to entities and groups of people who for economic or any other reason do not have access to such services. A total of 28 of the most prestigious law firms have recently founded the board of trustees of the Spanish Pro Bono Foundation, which also intends to offer law professionals a means of effective participation in order to promote real justice and equality of citizens before the law.
This initiative arises from the necessity to complete the job done by the various bar associations in Spain in order to support access to justice for those who need it most, covering all those aspects which have not yet been resolved.
