Nerea Goiriena, a lawyer at Bufete Barrilero y Asociados and an expert in real estate and urban planning law, joined a conference on the Spanish Public Contracts Act that took place in Bilbao at the “Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos Vasconavarro” (COAVN). During the conference, entitled “A New Legal Approach for Better Public Contracting?”, Matxalen Acususo gave the opening speech which was followed by an explanation of the new legal standards that the Spanish Public Contracts Act incorporates on issues such as endorsements, bidder registry and guarantees.
Juan Rodríguez Zapatero, lawyer at the Board of the Spanish Architects Association and former member of the working team in charge of leading the issue concerning the Spanish Public Contracts Act, also joined the conference.
