Araceli Zatarain

Participates in important operations for the reorganization of national and international business groups, due diligence processes, tax audits, direct advice to top-level companies, etc. Consequently, she has extensive experience advising clients from different sectors such as public, technology and communications, etc., including important international groups of companies, and has a deep knowledge of the energy sector both for regulated and non-regulated entities.
She has over 30 years of experience having worked at PwC as a partner in the tax department and as a specialist in the energy sector for the last 12 years.
She has taught classes in the Master’s Degree at the CEU University and CETE (Center for Economic and Financial Studies) in Tax Advisory and speaker at various tax conferences and seminars on Corporate Income Tax and Consolidated Groups (Institute for International Research, College of Economists, IESE, etc.)
She has collaborated in the publication of “Taxes in the energy sector”, an in-depth analysis of taxes in the energy sector, sponsored by Iberdrola and published by Aranzadi and has participated in “Legal notebooks for engineers” on Inheritance and Donations Tax and Wealth Tax, sponsored by Iberdrola and published by La Ley.
